Pinless technique.
Utmost quality.

There’s no questions about it. Cope and Stick joinery produces a great look for cabinet door frames. “Stick” is the molded edge cut along the frame’s inside edge. Any piece that meets that molding must match the profile by being “coped.” This subtle technique replaces the typical round-over profile with a clean and square corner. The tenon on Valley Custom Door® Cope and Stick doors and drawer fronts is 5/8″ long and provides the strongest joint available.

KEY ADVANTAGES:

  • Standard door frame width is 2-1/4”
  • Constructed using the pinless technique in a rotary clamp
  • Standard frame size on 5-piece drawer fronts is 1-1/4″ top and bottom rails with the stiles 2-1/4″ wide
  • We do not pin the backside of our frames, just clamp

Please remember that all finishes shown on this site are representative and may not be an exact match to the finish on actual products. Other wood species, finishes, and profiles are available in addition to those shown.
